1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using CleanInbox ("the App" or "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions in this agreement, you must not use our Services.

2. Description of Service

CleanInbox is a productivity tool designed to help you organize, categorize, unsubscribe from, and delete emails in bulk using OAuth connections to your email provider. CleanInbox does not provide email hosting but acts as a software client managing your existing inbox.

3. User Responsibilities & Conduct

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for:

  • The exact emails you choose to delete, archive, or unsubscribe from.
  • Maintaining the security of your device and the confidentiality of your account limits.
  • Not reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code or AI models from the App.
  • Ensuring you have the right and authority to grant CleanInbox access to the email accounts you connect.

Warning: CleanInbox executes deletion rules based on your approvals. We are NOT responsible for the accidental deletion of important emails. Always review your bulk-delete selections carefully before confirming.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

CleanInbox offers Free, Pro, and Pro Max tiers, as well as occasional Lifetime Deals.

  • Auto-Renewal: For monthly or annual subscriptions, your payment method will be automatically charged at the end of every billing cycle unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your respective app store (Apple/Google) or via our web billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds: Except when required by law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable. For lifetime deals, a standard 7-day money-back guarantee applies unless stated otherwise.

5. API Limits and Fair Use

Your ability to process thousands of emails is limited by the API limits set by your email provider (e.g., Google, Outlook). CleanInbox implements rate-limiting and intelligent batching to prevent API bans. If you abuse the app (e.g., by creating automated bot networks to cycle through limits), we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without a refund.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

CleanInbox is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no guarantees that the Service will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or perfectly accurate in its categorizations. The AI detection may occasionally mislabel an important email as a newsletter or promo. You must review the App's suggestions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall CleanInbox, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or accidental deletion of critical communications resulting from the use of our Services.

8. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any major changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms and, where appropriate, via email or an in-app banner. Your continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
